Sooo....

I'm making this:

It's the Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn Clark. I'm using Great Adirondack Yarn Company's Sireno (Sirino?), which is a gorgeous Merino/silk blend that I bought while visiting Webs a few years ago.

I'm working on it pretty diligently as I'm not very fast when it comes to lace and it needs to be completed and blocked by March 14th. Because that's when these two:

Are getting married!

The colors in your yarn are gorgeous and I'm sure the silk content gives it an incredible luster.

I just looked at web pictures of other Swallowtail Shawls, and yours is going to be a very fitting garment for the bride.

Yay!

What a joyous event to knit for.

If you work on Swallowtail a little bit every day, it will be done before you know it.

What a wonderful yarn to use. That is really going to make this shawl over the top fabulous.
