Oh, I'm so sorry, Rachel. I still have a huge honkin' empty spot in my heart for Vincent. Not that I'm ready to take on another dog, mind you..... (though I may have a foster grandpup coming to live with me soon....)
As one who has had to say goodbye to 2 of my four legged children this year, I gut-wrenchingly say I am sorry. Lots of hugs coming your way. As you said, he was ready... and you were able to give him that last gift of Peace.
